Numbers are just numbers, what is important is if you are getting your message across. I love reading your posts and never fail visiting your site to check out your new entries. Congratulations are definitely in order. Kudos to you.

Reply: I truly appreciate your kind words. I agree that we should assess on the basis of both quantity and quality. The only reason I am fixated on site stats of yours, mine, and a few others is that they can give us an idea of how wide our reach is. As you know, articulating online one’s stand is one thing: Getting the message across requires more hard work on our part so that we can reach out to other like-minded online users. Cheers!

Eventhough some ranking systems these days are not that reliable (Google PRs Fluctuating, Blogs using PPP penalized etc.), what matters most is how you and your readers value your blog. Content is king. :)

Reply: I agree. That’s what I always tell my Online Journalism and Publication Design and Layout class, “Content is king!” — the sexist tone notwithstanding. Ha ha. Cheers!
