July 8 (Tuesday)
- J 122 TUV (Publication Design and Layout): Members of Group 3 will present their report. We will also have our first hands-on exercise in design and layout.
- Media 230 TZZ (Media Ethics): The two groups assigned to discuss Film and Radio will present their reports.
July 9 (Wednesday)
- J 122 WUV (Publication Design and Layout): Same instructions as J 122 TUV. However, a member of Group 1 who was absent last July 2 will present her report, after which we will have the usual Q and A.
- J 202 WZZ (Advanced Reporting): We will discuss Data Analysis and Writing the News. Please also read the additional reading material (”Making sense of inflation data”) given to you last July 2. The new deadline for the submission of the news article (i.e., your first paper) is July 21 (Monday). You will be writing a news feature on anything about media (e.g., killings, press freedom, coverage of issues).
