All students: Kindly note that August 19 (Tuesday) is a non-working holiday so there will be no classes on that day. Since I will be back in Jakarta on August 26 (Tuesday) and 27 (Wednesday), we will resume our discussions and other class activities on September 2 (Tuesday) and 3 (Wednesday).

DEADLINES

  • J 122 TUV and WUV (Publication Design and Layout): Your revised webpages should be uploaded by August 19 (Tuesday class) and 20 (Wednesday class), 5 pm.
  • Media 230 TZZ (Media Ethics): Please email your answer to the midterm examination question on August 26 (Tuesday), 5 pm (Manila time).

August 20 (Wednesday)

  • J 122 WUV (Publication Design and Layout): Although we will not have a class, the BNR will be open during class hours so that you can work on your webpages. J 122 TUV students will be allowed to use vacant BNR facilities.
  • J 202 WZZ (Advanced Reporting): We will have a workshop on your feature articles. After the workshop, I will give you instructions regarding the column and interpretive articles you are required to submit on September 10 and 24, respectively.

September 2 (Tuesday)

  • J 122 TUV (Publication Design and Layout): The last group will present its report. We will also discuss the outputs you are required to submit in the coming weeks.
  • Media 230 TZZ (Media Ethics): We will continue the discussion of selected Advertising and PR codes of ethics. Those assigned to discuss selected Entertainment codes of ethics and selected Journalism case studies must be ready to present their reports.

September 3 (Wednesday)

  • J 122 WUV (Publication Design and Layout): Same instructions as J 122 TUV
  • J 202 WZZ (Advanced Reporting): We will not meet as this will serve as your research break to work on your required papers.
