You should know this by now. The 34th season of Saturday Night Live premiered last September 13 with Tina Fey and Amy Poehler portraying Sarah Palin and Hillary Clinton, respectively.

This video proves the power of political satire, something that’s unfortunately missing in Philippine television. This kind of entertainment can really help shape public opinion while making people laugh.

I really look forward to the day when we will see a re-airing of relevant entertainment programs like Sic O’Clock News and Barrio Balimbing which used to be shown on IBC 13 in the 1980s.

In any case, watch the video and enjoy! Don’t you think Tina Fey nailed it with her excellent portrayal of Sarah Palin?
