Analyzing the most recent statistics of this blog, I noticed that nine out of the 10 “most clicked links” from October 13 to 19 are my J 122 students’ HTML hand coded websites. For those who don’t know, J 122 is Journalism 122 (Publication Design and Layout), a course I teach at the University of the Philippines (UP).

I’m not surprised that the top spot went to the website of the student who was listed first alphabetically. But what proved to be significant was that most of the nine websites in my blog’s top 10 “most clicked links” list got the highest grade in the J 122 final exam (i.e., production of the hand coded website).
