UP CMC holds college week from March 10-14
One week of honor and excellence in mass communication!
The University of the Philippines College of Mass Communication celebrates its college week from March 10 to 14 with various activities that promote the “tatak UP” (UP brand) in serving the people.
The opening program happens on March 10 (Monday), 1 p.m. at the CMC auditorium, to be followed by the inauguration of the CMC library and the Freedom of Information Garden at 2 p.m.
The weeklong book fair and CMC exhibit will also open on Monday.
On March 11 (Tuesday), the college will have a “Grand Pakain” at 11:30 a.m. at the CMC auditorium. At the same time, there will also be talk featuring the CMC alumni. A CMC Zumba Madness will be held at 5 p.m. at the CMC Veranda.
On March 12 (Wednesday), a job application workshop will be conducted at 10 a.m. This will be followed by a forum with former CMC deans titled “Tawag ka ni Dean!” at 2:30 p.m. Both activities will be held at the CMC auditorium. The 1st CMC Bowling Tournament, meanwhile, will be simultaneously held at the UP Diliman Bowling Alley.
On March 13 (Thursday), there will be a production management workshop at 10 a.m., and then a forum with selected UPD offices at 11:30 a.m. In the afternoon, a media research workshop will be conducted at 1 p.m., to be followed by a forum on environment-friendly programs and services at 4 p.m. These activities will be held at the CMC auditorium.
On March 14, the Parangal ng Kolehiyo will be held at 9 a.m., to be followed by a digital advertising workshop at 1 p.m. and a public relations and corporate comunication workshop at 2:30 p.m. These will also be held at the CMC auditorium.
The college’s Bulwagan ng Kalayaan sa Pamamahayag will serve as a venue for a job fair on March 13 and 14.
