• J 122 TUV (Publication Design and Layout): We will check the design and layout of your calling cards. We will also have our first session on HTML handcoding, so please read the four readings written by D. Raggett and K. Werbach.
• Media 230 TZZ (Media Ethics): Those assigned to report on the situation of Philippine radio and television will make their presentations.

July 16 (Wednesday)

• J 122 WUV (Publication Design and Layout): Same instructions as J 122 TUV.
• J 202 WZZ (Advanced Reporting): Kindly refer to the assigned readings in writing your news feature on anything about media. As agreed upon in class, we will not meet on July 16. You should submit your news feature on or before July 21 (Monday). We will subject your news feature to a workshop on July 23 (Wednesday). Aside from the readings in your syllabus, you should also read my paper titled “The Human Security Act and Philippine Journalism” and the full text of the proposed Freedom of Information Act of 2008 currently pending in Congress.
