Special message to J 122 TUV students: Thank you for allowing the CBN Asia television crew to take some footage of our class discussion this morning (July 23). According to the reporter, our classroom setting seeks to provide a “lighter side” to my serious discussion on poverty and cost of living.

August 5 (Tuesday)

• J 122 TUV (Publication Design and Layout): We will have our second session on HTML handcoding, this time focusing on hyperlinking and the use of tables in Web design. If time permits, members of Group 4 will present their report on typography and design principles.
• Media 230 TZZ (Media Ethics): We will continue our discussion of the New Media situation. Those assigned to discuss selected codes of ethics on Journalism and Advertising and Public Relations will make their presentations.

August 6 (Wednesday)

• J 122 WUV (Publication Design and Layout): Same instructions as J 122 TUV
• J 202 WZZ (Advanced Reporting): We will discuss the two assigned readings on “Writing different types of news stories.” Kindly take note that the next paper, a human interest feature article, is due on August 13. Those who want to submit a revised version of their newsfeature articles may do so when we meet on August 6.
