Gadgets, jewelry for only P50 at UP Mass Comm alumni homecoming

N.B. – This is a press release I wrote for UP CMC. Hope you can help disseminate it. Thank you.

An ASUS Eee PC or a Sony Ericsson K660i for only P50?

Big prizes like laptops and cellular phones await those who will attend the grand alumni homecoming of the University of the Philippines College of Mass Communication (UP CMC).

“UP Mass Comm and You: Photographs and Memories atbp.” will be held on September 27 (Saturday), 1 p.m. at the CMC Plaridel Hall in Diliman, Quezon City.

Alumni and friends of the college may buy raffle tickets worth P50 each at the gates.

Aside from a subnotebook and a cellphone, a ticket holder could win one Smart BRO USB modem. If he or she is not lucky enough to claim any of these, perhaps getting a diamond bracelet worth P20,000 or any one of two silver rings worth P6,000 could make him or her say that buying a cheap raffle ticket is worth it.

Even if a ticket holder is not interested in jewelry and gadgets, he or she could win a roundtrip economy class ticket for two to any domestic destination of Philippine Airlines (PAL).

There are also electronic appliances to be raffled off like stand fan, iron, DVD player and radio sets. Ticket holders could also win gift certificates from a beach resort (Escondido), an airline company (SEAIR), a spa (The Zen Institute Medical Spa) and a restaurant (Cravings).

There are also hundreds of prizes to be won like umbrellas, jackets and ballpens.

The alumni homecoming starts with an “open house” from 1 to 3 pm, followed by registration from 3 to 5 pm. The program runs from 5 to 11 pm, with dinner and fellowship night in between.

CMC alumni are entitled to free entrance to the college. Friends of CMC will pay an entrance fee of P200.
