Speakers are Atty. Ricardo Sunga of the Free Legal Assistance Group (FLAG) and Jaime Espina of the National Union of Journalists of the Philippines (NUJP). This forum is co-sponsored by NUJP and my Media 230 (Media Ethics) class.
December 9 (Tuesday)
- J 122 TUV (Publication Design and Layout): Members of Group 3 will present their report on electronic publishing. After our brief discussion on selected desktop publishing programs, we will have a seatwork.
- J 122 TWX (Publication Design and Layout): Same instructions as J 122 TUV.
December 10 (Wednesday)
- J 117 WUV (Online Journalism): We will discuss how the Internet works.
- Media 230 WZZ (Media Ethics): Please find the time to attend the forum on December 8 (Monday). Our class will co-sponsor the event because this is very relevant to our discussion on how some pending bills in Congress can affect the ethical practice of the journalism profession. In any case, we will continue our discussion of the film situation, after which the students assigned to report on the situations of radio and television will give their presentations.
