Concerned sectors demand junking of forced leave of absence, socialized tuition at UP
What: Rally, noise Barrage in time for the special meeting of the Board of Regents (BOR) of the University of the Philippines (Note: The BOR is the highest policy-making body at UP)
Why:
- To demand the scrapping of the socialized tuition and financial assistance program (STFAP) and junking of the forced leave of absence policy, among other issues.
- To demand justice for the UP Manila student who committed suicide last March 15 for inability to pay tuition, resulting in a forced leave of absence.
Who: Justice for Kristel Alliance, UP Kilos Na and other concerned groups and individuals

Where: Quezon Hall (right behind the Oblation statue), UP Diliman, Quezon City
