Consider this a shameless promotion, not for me but for my Journalism 117 (Online Journalism) students at the University of the Philippines (UP) Diliman.
I just submitted their final grades today (October 20) and I cannot formally end the semester without promoting the blogs they created, developed and maintained for my class.
The online articles they were required to write and have published in reputable online publications are cross-posted in their blogs. Special mention goes to Ms. Allyn Baldemor whose article was published by the international wire agency United Press International (UPI).
My contact at the UPI University wrote in a recent email message that “(s)ome of (my) students are writing some great stuff.” Yes, my J 117 students have every reason to be proud.
